ATLANTA (September 24, 2024) – In celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Piedmont Park Conservancy and the 120th birthday of Piedmont Park, the Conservancy invites Atlantans to rewind the clock and “Party Like It’s 1989” at Party for Piedmont Park on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 6:30 p.m. This milestone event, held at Greystone, the Park’s historic bathhouse, honors Piedmont Park’s rich history while reaffirming its commitment to the Park’s present and future. All proceeds will support the Piedmont Park Conservancy and its ongoing work to maintain and enhance Atlanta’s iconic, green heart. Guests are encouraged to bring family and friends for a nostalgic evening featuring 1989-themed fun with food, drinks and live music.
As the Conservancy celebrates this milestone, they are seeking community feedback on their Comprehensive Plan, which will shape the park's evolution for decades to come.
